The Bank that likes to say “Woof”

“If you want a friend on Wall Street, get a dog,” quipped Gordon Gekko, the cold-hearted protagonist of the film “Wall Street”.

Now it seems that if you want a bank on the High street, then get a dog.

DOGS RULE1Metro Bank “understand how important man’s best friend is to our dog-loving customers so we actively welcome dogs into our bank. We even have a selection of dog goodies when you visit, including fresh water bowls and dog treats.” On selected “Dogs Rule” weekends Metro Bank deposits £20 into the accounts of new customers who bring their dog into the bank to open an account.  The bank will even refund the fees incurred by new and existing Metro Bank customers when they rehome a cat or a dog from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home

You could dismiss it as a gimmick but if it wins them customer loyalty then all power to them.

After all its a dog eat dog world in retail banking…DOGS RULE2
